I recommitted to doing two simple things. I am determined to track all the food I eat. This is going to help me to be accountable to me. I need to remember that if I eat I own it. Tracking will help to keep it all in perspective. The other committment is to drink lots of water. This is something that I have forgotten to do over the last year. I have been working out, I hired a trainer, but I have not been doing this one simple things to improve my chances of losing weight and being healthier.
Two simple things to start the year off right. Perfection is not what I am looking for. Progress is. And even today I indulged in a couple of chocolate truffles. For me it will never be about denying myself, but it will be about controlling what I do and when I do it.
I have big plans this year. And this is just one of the steps to getting there.
