I want to take a minute to slow down. The attacks on Paris, the heightened travel advisories, the increase in fear has definitely made me feel anxious and worried. And blessed for the people in my life and the experiences that we have had. I just want my family and friends to know I love them. Each and every day, not just on this day. So here it goes.
My husband Tim for being my best friend and the love of my life. Having him in my life makes me want to be better.
My Parents Ray and Janet who love me unconditionally. Giving them a trip of a lifetime was the least I could do for them.
My Brother Ray who makes me laugh, makes me think, and watches out for me. My Sister-In-Law Mary for putting up with my brother! (insert smiley face)
My Uncle Albee who came to Arizona for our Wedding party to represent my Mother who left us all too soon and for being a connection to the past.
My Best Ladies, Nancy and Kathi, who went above and beyond when it came to my wedding. I cannot thank them enough and not just for the wedding stuff but the years of love and friendship.
Our Best Men, Rick and Jim, for taking care of my husband before and during the wedding and for being amazing friends..
My friend and photographer Angie for braving all that she has to every day to make every day happen and for the photographs of our wedding. You are truly gifted and my dear friend.
My BFFs, Ragani and Faith, who have loved me for years and came across the ocean to be with me on my special day. Thank you for making that happen and for all that you did.
My friend Sandee for being an awesome friend and support. You make my life so very cool.
My friends Roy, Ann, Carl, and Ellen for using their speaking skills to make our day wonderful by reading the crazy crap I found on the internet for weddings. And for coming across the ocean to be with us and love and support all these years.
Our wedding guests. You all made the day so very special and we are still humbled that you would travel so far for us.
Father Kevin, you made it all legal with a touch of humor and doses of love.
All my friends near and far. I love you all so much. You make life amazing and special.
Our pets. All three bring so much love and purrs to my life.
Our home. 1,000 square feet filled with love and wonderful memories.
My health. Losing 90 pounds in the last 18 months has changed everything in my life. I feel better, I can walk for miles, I am able to enjoy vacations. I am thankful to be able to lose more and keep improving.
My organization Toastmasters. Without it I would not have met most of the people on the list and most certainly would not have met my husband. Even through frustrations and disappointments I still love it.
My employer for the great place to work and that paycheck.
My country. For all its flaws, crazy politicians, and everything that makes us all uniquely American, it is a great place to live.
And to my readers, thanks for stopping by and reading. You all rock.
