Hilary Clinton is not the ideal candidate. She was not my first choice, my first choice did not run. I still think about a Joe Biden nomination and have long sighs thinking about what might have been. The Clintons are hated. He lied for sure, she may have lied, and yet here we are. I know that a lot people hate her and won’t vote for her. I will look back on the Clinton presidency a lot different than most people. And I am OK with how I feel politically now because of those 8 years. Bill Clinton was younger then my Dad, he was charismatic, he gave me hope and in a lot of ways he delivered and then he let me down. He disappointed me. But I still feel better about his presidency then I feel about the 8 years after him and even the last 8 years.
"This campaign is about making sure there are no ceilings, no limits on any of us and this is our moment to come together.” – Hilary Clinton
Here is the reality we face. There are probably enough people out there who hate Secretary Clinton to have them vote for the other guy. The other guy (I won’t say is name because I don’t want to throw up in my mouth) is a dangerous, dangerous man. He is a racist, misogynist, cheat, liar, and the most despicable human being ever to be nominated for President. We have had some slimy Presidents but this guy would be the worst. He will alienate us from the rest of world, destroy our economy, and give us 4 years of the worst time in our history. That guy will make it OK for people to hate, discriminate, and persecute people. He is a threat to our freedoms. And those who think they can control him are fooling themselves. The right would have a better chance of controlling a Clinton presidency through Republican controlled Congress and Senate than they ever will with that guy.
Voting for the other guy is a gamble I don’t want to see us take. I’m with her because I believe in my party and I believe that she will not wake up one day and just decide to start a war. I’m with her because I want every little girl out there to see that you can be a girl and be President. I’m with her because everyone deserves to live the lives they want regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and beliefs. I’m with her because she has been a senator, the secretary of state, and a first lady (that was no easy job). I’m with her because if the other guy wins, our country will never be the same.
